CLUES From Your Mystery Friends

Mystery Class:

#1 "If you go approximately 1000 km to the west from our city, you'll find the highest mountain in our country and continent."

#2 "Our country has two capitals right now: the old one situated in the south, and the new capital in the north, much closer to our city."

#3 "A southwestern state boundary is the Pacific Ocean. The elevation of our town is 2350 meters above the sea level which allows for intense sun during the daylight hours and cool to cold or even freezing evening temperatures."

#4 "Our city was the Inca capital and was taken over by the Spanish conqueror, Francisco Pizarro in 1532."

#5 "Our city was once a fishing village, then later a market town and now more or less an industrial city."

#6 "The state in which we live is the smallest mainland state in terms of area (227,620 sq km) and the second largest in terms of population. The Murray River forms one of our state's borders and is approximately 30kms from our town."

#7 "We are located South of a World Heritage Site which is part of one of our National Parks."

#8 "Observation Hill is a neat place to hike and get a look out over the city."

#9 "Our city is home of a baroque style (XVII th century) Belfry. This stoned tower is 87 metres high. It overlooks the city. It contains, into the top, a 49 bells carillon. Victor Hugo described it as: 'a coffeepot flanked over four smaller teapots'."

#10. "We find these on the beach. They are called Japanese Glass Floats (See attached very small picture)."
