Monarch Habitat Assessment

Identifies a variety of specific monarch needs — related to food, water, shelter, and space — in the butterflies' fall, winter, spring, or breeding habitats.      
Identifies a variety of characteristics of the habitat that help monarchs survive (and reproduce).      
Identifies a variety of physical and behavioral adaptations that help monarchs meet needs in specific environments.      
Makes complex connections between the ways organisms meet basic needs and the dependency of organisms on their habitat.
