Hooray! On
to Morgan County (+56.3 Miles)
November 12, 2006: Migration Day 39
They're
finally out of Boone County's grip! All 18 took off behind Brooke, today's
lead pilot. They hadn't flown for 8 days, yet every single chick
stayed with Brook's plane the whole way (1 hour, 31 minutes)!

Today's
Journal Question: Joe reported
conditions: no tailwind, no headwind, and bumpy all the
way, even though
they flew at altitudes anywhere from 700 to 1,000 feet. What
does this make you think about everyone's motivation to
GO?
