The undependable autumn weather has caused
down-day #3 in South Juneau County, Wisconsin. It's a good day
for the costumes to enter the pen and give the birds their de-worming
medicine, buried in smelts (tiny fish). The birds jumped and flapped
like crazy today. Did you see it on the CraneCam? But it's also the
day before Halloween, and
you
can
be
sure there
are
pumpkins!
There's
mischief
too, as you'll see when you take a look at our new
slide show story. Now, back to waiting out the weather. . .
The
world's first
CraneCam and TrikeCam give us a bird's eye view of
this migration. Take a look!
