Whoopie! It's Green
County, the last stop before crossing into Illinois! Lucky
craniacs who came to today's public flyover were treated to
the sight of their lives as all
20 young cranes flew the distance in a long string behind
today's lead pilot, Richard. WOW! They stuck with him through
layers of bumpy
air that made the line sink and then lift as they
climbed to smooth air. They took advantage of a 20-mile-an-hour
tailwind aloft and
landed
just
before
9 a.m.
at Stopover #4. "Brooke and I flew to the runway down below — but
not before doing the 'happy dance' in the sky," wrote Richard
in the Field Journal. Go Team! Go CRANES!
Check
out the TrikeCam mounted
on Chris's wing. If you don't see live feed, you can review
archived footage here. And
see the CraneCam views of the birds in their pen at Stopover
#4: Green County, WI.

Think, then link to How
to Identify the Untralight. What are 3 ways?
(b-for-bonus) What is a fourth
way to identify who's flying an ultralight? Take
