Winds blowing
at 20 mph out of the ENE are grounding the team for the second day
in LaSalle County, Illinios. Meanwhile, pilot
Chris has been busy. Do you remember what happened to him last week
when the team tried to reach this Stopover but had to turn back? (See
and hear
Joe tell what happened.) Chris's engine failed during the
flight. He made an amazing emergency landing without engine power!
Luckily Chris is fine and his trike now has a new engine. We'll
have more about this later, but for now, see
this page and think
about what an ultralight pilot might need in an emergency.
CraneCam is LIVE each day from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. and again from 3:30 to
4:30 in the afternoon, just before sunset. The TrikeCam will be
LIVE during flights!

he did it?
