Away to Stopover #2 (+26.4 Miles)
October 17, 2010: Migration Day 8

Woo HOO!! Today they flew to stopover #2! Winds out of the north gave them a nice little push. They were on the ground by around 8:30 a.m. CST. Nine of the birds flew the distance today, but #10-10 (Zoey) dropped out shortly after takeoff. She was crated to the new stopover site, and so was #2. An abrasion on his wing still needs more healing time so he made the trip in the van. How many miles have they traveled to reach stopover #2?
