No progress for the 7th day. Wind warnings and thunderstorms rule in Winnebago County, IL. Chances for a flight don't look good for the next few days. But there's discovery afoot for you. Keep reading:

In the Classroom: Journal or Discussion

  • (a) How would you describe a crane's foot? (See photo at top.) What do you wonder? What do you hypothesize? Draw the tracks you think cranes make. Record your observations on the journal page called Scientific Observation.
