October 13, 2011: Migration Day 5
Drizzle,
dampness, downpours and puddles. The cranes don't mind, but it's
no flying weather for their migration. From camp in Green Lake
County, Liz writes: "Today will be a day of organizing 'people
gear', and for some of us, doing
laundry
and grocery shopping, while we all keep our fingers crossed for
better weather tomorrow."

from last year's migration?
Seeing this

was their longest flight?
(Now you see what's
