Touchdown Stopover #2! (+14 Miles)
Flyable weather again today allowed a takeoff, and at 9:09 pilot Joe landed in Marquette County (Stop #2) with crane #10-11. Richard landed later with #4, #7 and #12. When Brooke's lone bird, #6, balked at flying over a large body of water, Brooke gave up and turned back to the first stop with #6. There, #6 was crated and so were cranes #1, #3, #5, and #9. They were then driven in the van to join their flying flock mates at the new pen in Marquette County. All are doing just fine. Meanwhile, will missing crane #2-11 be found today? The search for her continues. Did she catch a thermal and just keep flying?
