Thanksgiving Day will be a day of rest, even though the team would be thankful to gain more miles. The winds have switched to come out of the south, so they remain in Piatt County, Illinois. Pilot Brooke had these heartfelt words in the team's field journal: "Thanksgiving is probably the most meaningful holiday of the year; a day to celebrate what we have been given, and what we have given; a day of connectivity, community and unification unencumbered by politics or religion or ethnicity." Enjoy this day!
