Last Stop in Tennessee! (+67 Miles)
Hello, Hardin County, Tennessee! Today they reached the final stopover site in this state. The pilots climbed up to 3,000 feet in an attempt to reach smoother air. Flying in rougher air was harder work for the birds. When some got tired and began dropping down, the pilots decided not to skip ahead to the next stop. Brooke expressed pride at how well the birds did. He had eight birds all following on one side for quite a distance, unusual for this migration. Alabama, here they come! So far, good flying weather is likely for that trip to happen tomorrow. Whoopee!
