Whooping Crane Erin Harris 2009 Season Intern Erin Harris grew up in Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C. She has a college degre in biology with an Emphasis in Equine Science. Her passion for Whooping Cranes began when a family friend brought her to the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center to visit. Beginning with , Erin has always been involved with competitive sports: gymnastics, dance, swim team, and most recently horseback riding. She enjoys showing her horse, Brego, on weekends.
