2005 Summary: First year that pairs in the eastern migratory population nested. Two nests were built and two eggs laid, but neither egg survived to hatching.

This pair produced the first egg ever laid by reintroduced Whooping cranes in the eastern migratory flock! A predator destroyed the egg.

April 17? Nest failed April 19 when parents abandoned it. A predator destroyed the egg.
