Hummer Mystery: The Real Story Here's what happened: A bird-lover in Wisconsin found a hummingbird in her garage. It was very thin because it had no food to eat. She tried many tricks to try to get the bird to eat. She brought in a flower and a hummingbird feeder. She even put sweet, red hummingbird food in a tiny glass. Then, when she climbed up and reached her hand out, the hummingbird jumped onto her finger! He took a big drink from the glass.
