Collecting Data Over the Years Collecting and recording air and soil temperatures in the tulip garden are scientific ways to look at factors that influence the changing of the seasons. Keeping track this data from year to year offers a wealth of material for comparison and prediction. Put your tulip data in a safe place and pull it out each year for study and comparison.
