The second graders decided to incorporate the tulip test garden into their community garden. The tulips will serve as a tool to teach plants, soil, erosion, climate, climate change, the water cycle, and environmental awareness. The tulip project is an opportunity of a life time for the students to feel so connected to the world and realize we really do live in a global community and their efforts will be part of a much larger endeavor.
