Pioneer School, Spokane Valley, Washington
On October 17th, 2011 the Pioneers of Pioneer School planted sixteen Red Emperor Tulip Bulbs in the test garden. They were planted 7 inches down and 4 inches apart. The spot where they are planted is located in the back playground. Conditions were partly cloudy, 63% humidity, and 55 Degrees F, with winds 3 mph. The garden was planted as part of our trees and plants unit. The class worked as a team and had a fun experience planting the garden and learning about tulips.
