Nelson Rural school has planted a Journey North garden every year since 2006! This year students from first, second, and third grade planted the tulip Test Garden.

"Before we planted the tulip bulbs, we went through the checklist to make sure it was a good spot to plant. Every student got one tulip bulb to plant, so we planted 51 Red Emperor tulip bulbs."
