Critter Control
Deer LOVE to eat tulips. They often watch and wait until the blooms are just starting to open before they chomp them. Because Red Emperor tulips are one of the earliest varieties — selected as a harbinger of spring — they offer critters one of the first garden treats of the season. Be sure your gardens are protected.

"One night we looked out and saw a deer had snacked on the tulips! We got a fence and some foil and the foil scared away the deer and now the tulips are open and we are so happy to see them and welcome Spring."
