Subject: Neotropical Songbirds
Author: Mrs. Hayes' Class, Smith School, Tenafly, N.J.
Date: April 16, 1996
The neotropical migrant songbirds are losing their habitats because people
are cutting down trees. And berries grow on trees, so birds can't eat. When
trees fall, the nests fall and the eggs crack. We are very sad! And angry!
