We do a thematic study of Monarchs in our three first grades in
Lewiston, MN. The unit encompasses reading, writing, inquiry and science
that are addressed in our Minnesota Graduation Standards. We are in the
process of creating performance assessments and recording devices to
document student learning. We would like to encorporate technology into
this unit. Any neat sites or ideas would be appreciated! We'd also like
to correspond with other first grade classes who study Monarchs. Send any
