The Three Amigos

I reported in an earlier post today that we watched a female Monarch butterfly laying eggs on a swamp milkweed toward the northwest corner of our yard.  When we checked later we found three eggs, one on one leaf and two on another leaf, as you can see in the photos.

At the time, we had partly cloudy skies with:

• Temperature   80°F
• Dewpoint   63°F
• Humidity   55%
• Air Pressure   28.9 inches
• Light wind from the West at about 4 mph
