Our First Monarch Butterfly Photograph for 2024
I spotted our second Monarch Butterfly – a female – for 2024 at about 9:45 AM nectaring on some of our pink coneflowers. (Our first was on 7/19/2024, but it did not stick around long enough to get a photo.)
At the time the air temperature was 71°F, the dew point was 64°F, the humidity was 79%, the air was calm under fair skies with the air pressure at 28.67 inches and beginning to drop slowly.
