of Manchester, NH! They came closest to answering Challenge Question #25 when they predicted May 3 for ice-out
on the Tanana River! Ice-Out Contest 2001 continues! "It was just 5 degrees here yesterday, and the wind has been blowing from the North for days. I'm afraid we won't have ice-out before school closes. (Our school closes on May 18th.) Barring an amazing warming spell, I think break up will happen long after school is out."
