Varied Thrush

The Varied Thrush prefers mature and old-growth coniferous forest habitats and feeds on earthworms and insects on the shaded forest floor. This thrush's breeding range extends along the Pacific coast from California to Alaska and inland to Idaho and Montana. The Varied Thrush overwinters along the Pacific coast from Alaska to California.
