    Challenge Question #1
"How do owl eggs keep their heat while sitting in an unheated nest?"

Since the owl is sitting on top of the egg, the egg is warm because heat is
coming out of the owls body. It does not matter that it is cold underneath.
    Emily F.

The nest is like an inverted dome so the heat bounces back and keeps the egg
    warm from the bottom also.
    Timmy F.

The owl has lots of feathers and I think that the owl surrounds the egg with
its feathers and insulates it on all sides which keeps the heat concentrated
    around the egg.
