Thinking! A local sporting goods store provided the supplies to help lure bald eagles into the bait along the Merrimack River. This eagle decoy started out as a wild turkey decoy! The turkey decoy was turned into an eagle with the help of some white paint and a new yellow beak. The decoys of perching adult eagles were designed to "show" other eagles that experienced adult birds found the site to be safe for perching and feeding. Did it work?
