We are eagerly waiting for news of arrivals in Costa Rica, while migration in the north dwindles. The number of reports dropped significantly this week. Observers were surprised by late-season stragglers:

"Lone hummingbird is still here. Fortunately, the salvia is too as that is all it feeds on."
