Rubythroats in the North
For many in the northern reaches of the rubythroat range first sightings were delayed this spring.

Rufous
Both male and female rufous are now being observed in parts of the Canadian Rockies.

Western Species Highlights
Because several hummingbird species are found in western states and provinces there can be more than one species to observe.
