"Only about two percent of our continent looks like this. These valleys near our location are one of the largest areas without ice and most of the time you won't get much of a reading on a hygrometer. So you might be surprised to know that one of the longest rivers on this continent flows through this area, during the short summer."

"Sunrise and sunset times here (when we have them) are a little imprecise because of our latitude, and so your longitude calculation for us will be close but not exact. But these final clues will help. Our country has three year-round research stations on the continent; our station has a coastal location, and is the largest of the three. If you want to get a good "observation" of the station, hike up the "hill" next to us for this view. Our nearest neighbors are from New Zealand."
