Mystery Class #1

"If you come to our young province you won't really need a fire extinguisher, the flames are only in its name. But make sure you're in the right country if you come to the big island, because there's a neighboring nation here too, one that sounds spicy. Need directions? We're just across the strait."

Mystery Class #2

"Fishing is great here, but don't worry about catching one of these prehistoric creatures. Longer than a school bus, one was discovered in our province. It's now an official symbol of the province and on a commemorative stamp for our country."

Mystery Class #3

What did the calculator say to the math student? You can count on me. Ha-ha, and you can count on us for another clue!

"Our country is divided into 12 parts. If you subtract the parts that are not like us, then our part is all that's left:

12 parts - 9 'regions' = 3 parts
3 parts - 2 'autonomous republics' = our small part."

"Think high and dry if you want to find our region of the country -- high population, high elevation, and no shoreline. But don't think international, because our region has no border with another country."

Mystery Class #5

"On our blue coat is a yellow boat. Climb aboard and you'll be in our region, which has several of the country's most-populated cities."

Mystery Class #8

"Most of our country's people live here on this one large island, which is home to two of our country's four 'divisions'. We also share the island with giants that can grow up to 15 cm long."

Mystery Class #9

Mystery Class #9 wants you to know 'em, so they sent you this poem!

"Our island's inside the Circle,
but only just,
Part of the continent's to our east,
but sea is to the west."

Mystery Class #10

"Water defines several parts of our state's border, and one of the state's largest ports is about one hundred miles upriver from the ocean."
