- Sightings appear immediately in our database as soon as it is reported by observers. Our staff reviews the raw data before publishing it in the weekly summaries.

Note that the Weekly Summaries above are organized according to the date sightings were REPORTED. If an observer waits to report a sighting, it will appear on a later list. Example: You see a monarch on May 1st. You don't report it until May 5th. On which list will your sighting appear? (See answer below.)

because it was reported on May 5th. It was reported too
late to be on the Apr. 28 - May 4, 2007 list.
