Today's weather in Angangueo, Michoacan, Mexico >>

(19 N, -100 W)

From English teacher, Estela Romero:

October 17, 2007
We have no news still about the butterflies! The weather is getting warmer and warmer, it must have been about 15-20 C at noon for the last week. There are no butterflies in sight yet. The town is calm, sometimes calmer that desired! We have no special celebrations now, but we are awaiting for the Day of the Dead's celebration.

Now, I must now introduce to you to my English class students.
Our classroom is in my own house. Their first letters are above. They wrote them in Spanish, so that you can practice a little bit.

From left to right:

  • Irving (age 12), the boy, 1st. grade elementary school, calm and very interested in the class.
  • Myself!
  • Laura, (age 11)5th year elementary school, 11, not so shy as she seems.
  • Laura Emilia, (age 8), my daughter, better at learning English than I thought, which makes me very happy, and last of all,
  • Zamara, (age 9), very outward girl, excellent at English, she knows more than the others because she has been living in a city near México City (Toluca) and was attending a private school, so her English level very good.

HASTA LA PROXIMA !!!
