Mrs.
Fiedler's 2nd grade class in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania:
We think they will take this path based on the data from the average
temperature maps and the milkweed maps. Since Monarchs need milkweed
and warm temperatures are needed for milkweed to grow and for Monarchs
to survive, we have predicted this list for their journey north! We
can't wait to see them!!

Mrs.
Nunnally's 2nd grade class in Bedford, New Hampshire:
We think the monarchs will go to these 12 states next: Oklahoma,
Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky,
West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. The monarchs will go
through these states because it will get warmer and there will be more
milkweed in the south and then the states that are further north will
start to get warmer and grow milkweed.
