Hastings, NE: 02/23/08 “Way
up in the top of a tree, sitting on a limb with a bunch of smaller birds
around it on other limbs was my first robin of the season." More >>

this spring was in a crab apple tree. I made a positive ID of the bird.
It was
not singing. Normally the first robin is seen in this area around March

now heard the robin song. One student saw the robin in a blackberry thicket.

students are positive that they heard the vocalization labeled Robin
song and
