Two robins stopped to rest during migration last Thursday morning in my neighborhood. These two robins let me watch them for fifteen minutes! They hopped from branch to branch and tree to tree, but never flew.

During this time I learned so much about robins! What can YOU learn from studying the pictures I took?

Make Connections: Springtime and Nests
After their spring migration, robins set to work preparing to lay their first clutch of eggs.

How do they prepare? Imagine you are a robin. How would you get ready for the spring batch of robin babies?

Make a list of what you might need for a safe and secure nest.

Then, keep your eyes open in your neighborhood for signs that a robin is building a nest near you!
