I heard my first robin singing last night (Sunday April 18th). Weather is starting to heat up. We might loose the remaining snow in the next couple of days. Temperature in the day time of +10 and night of +2! No more freezing at night?

04/13/2009 Juneau , AK (58.48, -134.16)
We are finally hearing songs from robins who are now showing up all around Juneau. We still have lots of snow (3 - 5')in colder places, but there is bare ground right along the coast and on southern exposure hillsides.

Hundreds of robins were seen yesterday for miles as we drove down the Highway in Temiskaming District. The amount of snow still in the fields caused the robins to congregate along road where they were easy to spot.
