Workers kept busy preparing Symbolic Butterfly packets. The Final Migration is Starting!

Symbolic Butterflies are now flying across the land on the final leg of their long journeys. Soon they will arrive at your school. Your role as ambassador for protecting this amazing butterfly is an important lesson for monarch conservation. Complete the project by posting a note for each butterfly to the student who made it!

Adiós Butterflies! Friendship and Monarch Conservation

Here at the Journey North Symbolic Migration headquarters the busy pace was nonstop for the past month. Workers were kept busy getting your envelopes filled with far-flying butterflies!

Workers prepared the envelopes carefully; hand filling and inspecting each one so the butterflies would have a safe journey. Finally, all the beautiful symbolic butterflies clustered together to travel to each classroom. When they were all ready to go it was an impressive sight.

The collection of all your butterflies was an amazing sight!

After a long migration to Mexico and back, these butterflies were finally on their last journey back to YOUR classrooms! "Adiós!"
