"Eagle #F42 has continued to move northeast! Wonder where she's headed. Eagle # F43 is holding tight in
New Brunswick--but what's with this #F44 bird ?? She still appears to be hanging out around West Point, with very
little movement.
I asked my colleague James Beemer to "run down" this bird via it's tail-radio. I knew it should be easy
to get a signal on, then try to get a visual on it to see if it's alive and well.
"'#F44 is giving every indication of sticking around,' he told me a couple of days later. 'The data points center around the Arden Homestead next to Harriman State Park.'
"Is she a local nester or will she still migrate? I am beginning to wonder!!"
