Too Windy to Fly (+0 Miles)
November 2, 2007: Migration Day 21

No go today. It's clear and cold: that's good. But winds out of the south at 30 miles per hour are blowing at altitude: that's bad. They'll wait it out, but it's great to be on Illinois turf. What adventures lie ahead?

In the Classroom

  • Today's Journal Question:
  • (a) Through how many states will the migration travel? List them.
(b-for-bonus) Find out and list how many days the team spent in each state on the 2006 migration. At the end of this migration, return to your journal page and write the same information for the 2007 migration.
