On
to Jackson County! (+60.9
Miles) HOORAY! After being grounded for five days, all 17 birds winged their way safely to the next stop at Jackson County, Indiana's Muscatatuck NWR. Lead pilot Brooke made a couple of passes past the pen because the birds didn't quite have their act together, but soon all 17 were lined up with his wing. It was a beautiful sight! The last two birds lagged behind at first, but flapped like crazy to catch up. The three chase pilots held back as Brook and all 17 birds disappeared into the distance. GO CRANES! In the Classroom
