Operation Migration

Pilot Brooke starts our day with these words: "It's really blowing out there!" So far, pilot Chris's weather forecast holds true. It's another day in Jackson County at the last stop in Indiana. Miles traveled: 455.5 of a total of about 1,250.

In the Classroom

  • Today's Journal Question: Look at the weather map for today >>. Compare with yesterday's weather map. How has the weather map changed? Do you think they'll fly tomorrow?
  • Migration History: Where were last year's crane-kids on Nov. 20? Click here to find out. What point had the migration team reached in 2005? 2004? 2003? 2002? 2001?
