Freezing Fog! No Go (+0 Miles)
December 31, 2007: Migration Day 69

Photo Megan Kennedy, Operation Migration

It's day 2 on the ground at Tennessee's Hiwassee Refuge with 738.3 miles gone. Freezing fog is the culprit. It's impossible to see more than a quarter of a mile. It will be hours before the fog lifts, so no flight will happen today.
