Alabama Tomorrow? (Total Gone: 636 Miles)
December 2, 2013
Weekly Updates

The weather held them to a 67-mile gain last week, but a lovely pond was their reward after that hard flight Nov. 29. Alas, the wayward #3 was trucked part way to Hardin County, the last stop in Tennessee. Today they're grounded by headwinds in Hardin County and rain showers at their next destination across the border in Alabama. See Stopovers to count how many good fly-days will finish the journey south. Check out the cranes' bio pages, updated each each flight day. Until our next weekly summary on Dec. 9, see daily updates at Operation Migration and live action on the crane cam.

Class of 2013 gets a cooling splash in a stream after their flight to Hardin County.
