Week 5: New Plan, Tiny Progress (Total Gone: 52 Miles) Dogged by fickle fall weather, the team decided the migration needed at least one successful leg to get their momentum going, even if it is only 5 miles away. A brief weather break came on Nov. 7, so, flying the birds in two shifts with the four best fliers first, they advanced the migration to a new interim stop in Dane County, Wisconsin. Whoop, whoop! "It was a small success but at this point in our migration, a small success is HUGE," proclaimed Brooke proclaimed pilot Brooke.
