Robin Nest Video: Tyler's Tech Talk

Our Bird cam project requires special equipment, hardware, software, and the knowledge to put it all together. We are doing this to learn about robins and hoping that we can get a robin building a nest. As of right now, we have two cameras, one in an owl box and one on a robin platform. Those cameras are wired to a switch box in the school. This box has different outputs in the back that allow us to view different cameras at the same time. The monitor allows us to adjust the picture and color. The monitor attaches to the Time Lapse V.C.R. that records the image in pictures at different speeds. That is connected to another V.C.R. that records stream video. The V.C.Rs record onto tapes that can be put in the computer by a special device called ?Dazzle Digital video creator.? On the PC, we can put those videos or images on a website, which will also have more info on robins.
