Highlights: First Blooms
A sweeping cold front blasted North America where some of the first Test Gardens have already emerged. Despite the weather, the first blooming garden of 2015 shows us that spring is on the way!

Texas
"We're so excited that our tulips bloomed! We had predicted they would bloom March 15th."

Utah
"Record warm temperatures in the western states this winter. We've been hitting mid-fifties and sixties and our tulips emerged." Nibley  02/14/15

Wisconsin
"No tulips here! Still only 13 degrees with wind chills to -20 F. All covered in snow and ice , will be a few months yet!" Mequon 02/16/15

Brrrr...how will our tulips bloom after months of snow and cold? Put your labcoat on and try conducting two cool experiments.
