Highlights: Emerging in Utah
We have emergence in Utah and Germany! Elsewhere, it's quiet. Cold air is penetrating unusually far south for late February. More snow and ice are forecast for Texas and Alabama, and into Georgia and the Carolinas.

Warmer weather is forecast in time for meterological spring on March 1st.

Utah
West of the Rocky Mountains, temperatures are warmer than average this winter.

"It has be unseasonably hot, and suddenly we are having freezing temps again. There is a fresh layer of snow on the tulips." Manila, Utah 02/23/15
