In contrast to earth's seasonal cycles, daily cycles -- such as the time of day when an event occurs -- can reveal important clues about the longitude of a location. You'll actually see how this works in two weeks, when the Longitude Clues are given and you learn how to estimate the Mystery Classes' longitude from the time of day when sunrise occurs.
